Filtration is critical in maintaining optimised conditions to ensure cell culture or fermentation growth that is conducive to bacterial growth. A combination of prefilters, bioburden filters and sterilising filters ensure that the process gases, buffers, nutrients, and media components entering the bioreactor are free of process contamination and unwanted microorganisms
